What is the return policy?
We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee against defects. Any defective product can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund (excludes shipping charges). To receive your Return Authorization, simply call 1-888-533-4533 to receive a Return Authorization. Your purchase will be refunded when the material is received at our facility.
If you need to return a product due to a change of decision or due to over purchase, simply call us at 1-888-533-4533 within 30 days of your purchase to obtain your Return Authorization. Your purchase will be refunded, with a 25% restocking fee, when it is received at our facility. (Excludes shipping charges)
How do I return an Item?
• Call us at 1-888-533-4533, M-F 8am-5pm PST
• Safely pack your item in the original packaging if possible, with a copy of the original Invoice/packing slip that accompanied your shipment.
• Cut off the Merchandise Return Label found at the very bottom of the page. Place this label over the original shipping label.
• Bring it to your preferred carrier and send it back to us for prompt processing.
What if my item appears damaged from shipping?
McMurrayhardware.com takes every precaution to insure your items arrive to you safely. We focus on using the best packaging materials and continually test and refine our process to make sure you get your package in great condition. Even with all our precautions, however, occasionally damage does occur in shipping. If you receive an item that appears damaged from shipping (example: box is dented), notify the carrier immediately (UPS, US Post Office or trucking company). Do not return the damaged merchandise - the carrier will determine if they need to see the condition of the box at the delivery site. Keeping all packaging materials, including interior and exterior containers. Notify McMurrayhardware.com of the damage and we will promptly ship replacement merchandise.
What if it appears I'm missing items from my order?
Check the items received against those on the packing slip, but remember that small items can get "lost" in the foam peanuts. Sometimes small items are taped to larger items, or placed in a bag for protection. If you have thoroughly checked the packaging of the box and cannot find the item listed on the packing slip, please contact McMurrayhardware.com and the item will be shipped immediately.
What if my item is defective?
Defective merchandise without a warranty will be exchanged if returned within 30 business days from the date of delivery. For defective merchandise under warranty, contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
How long will it take to process my return or exchange?
We will do our best to process your return or exchange quickly. For returns, please allow 30 days for a refund to appear on your credit card statement or to receive a check. For exchanges, items originating from and shipping to US addresses are usually delivered within two weeks from the time you ship the exchange.
If necessary, how will you refund my money?
Refunds are made in the same form as the original payment for the purchase in question. If this means posting a credit to your credit card account, McMurrayhardware.com can only credit the same credit card account that was used for the original purchase.
What if the item was a gift and I don't have a gift receipt?
McMurrayhardware.com will accept items without a receipt. You can exchange the item or receive credit for a future McMurrayhardware.com purchase.
Who pays the shipping costs?
Shipping costs will be refunded on a return if there was an error or a product defect. If this applies to your return or exchange, please include a copy of the postal receipt in/on your return package and request the credit.

Refunds issued for merchandise only, (not S&H). Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase date. Any item that is broken or missing parts may be refused or subject to a restocking fee. Returns must be received within 30 days after RMA# is issued.
